Description
The Guthrie Theater is hiring a full-time Maintenance Engineer to maintain the building and its HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire-safety, and grounds systems. The role reports to the Director of Facilities, follows a Wednesday–Sunday 3:00–11:30 PM schedule, and pays $27–$30 per hour depending on Class C Boiler License status. Responsibilities include completing maintenance work orders, monitoring utilities and energy use, supporting guest services and safety, coordinating vendors, and performing repairs and inspections. Candidates need prior large-facility building-maintenance experience, plumbing repair knowledge, willingness to obtain a Class C Boiler License within six months, and the ability to work independently and physically throughout the shift.
