Description
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the general maintenance, operation, and upkeep of campground buildings, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and grounds. The role performs carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and repair work; installs fixtures, equipment, and appliances; conducts inspections and preventative maintenance; troubleshoots equipment failures; maintains pool chemistry; and handles guests courteously. The position requires basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment, chemical handling, propane and gasoline dispensing, independent and team work, night, weekend, and holiday availability, and a valid driver’s license. It is performed primarily outdoors, may involve exposure to varying weather and chemicals, and requires lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
