Ocado Group, a leading UK-based online grocery retailer, seeks a Maintenance Engineer responsible for performing electrical and mechanical planned maintenance, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and contributing to continuous improvement projects within their automated Customer Fulfillment Centers. The role involves hands-on repair and assembly, record-keeping, and analysis of data to enhance machine performance. Initial training and potential travel to North America may be required during the first six to nine months.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: three years experience.
two years of direct experience in the mechanical or electrical field
carrying out electrical or mechanical maintenance, to include predictive and preventive planned maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to impart knowledge effectively to others.
Good organization skills; able to prioritize.
This role involves working at height using a variety of access equipment, so you need to be comfortable working at heights.
Good technical ability relating to automation hardware and software.
Sound analytical skills with an eye for detail; good problem-solving ability and a practical approach.
Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems.
Numerator and PC literate, including G-Suite and MS Office programs.
