Description
The Maintenance Engineer reports to the Chief Engineer and is responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, work-order response, facility documentation, and support of renovations and construction projects at the Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach – North Beach. The role covers guest rooms, public areas, mechanical rooms, and back-of-house spaces, requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and prefers vocational or technical training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or a related field plus two to five years of relevant experience. The position has a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency response, requires physical work involving lifting up to 50 pounds, and involves minimal travel.
