Description
The Semi-Skilled Maintenance Mechanic performs basic installation, maintenance, repair, inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery, equipment, pipe and electrical/electronic systems, machine tools, CNC controls, heating, air-conditioning, and facility systems across the entire site. The role also includes carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, furniture assembly, custodial and pest-control tasks, safety inspections, recordkeeping, and occasional travel. It requires a high school diploma or GED, common-sense problem-solving ability, and at least 1.5 years of building or equipment maintenance experience or equivalent industrial maintenance training. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and is restricted to United States citizens, permanent residents, or green card holders.
