Description
The Level 1 Engineer maintains event spaces, public areas, and back-of-house areas by performing preventive maintenance and repairs across carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning, painting, wall covering, masonry, electrical, and other trades. The role includes repairing and replacing fixtures and equipment, documenting repairs, cleaning work areas, traveling to different properties or venues, and following safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures. A high school education or equivalent, trade school, and at least one year of hospitality-related experience are preferred, while basic maintenance-trade experience, mechanical aptitude, tool knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to work flexible schedules are required.
