Description
The Maintenance Manager supervises maintenance staff and oversees corrective and preventative maintenance procedures within a plant. Responsibilities include evaluating and correcting mechanical and building problems, directing and scheduling the maintenance crew, implementing and evaluating preventative maintenance, training personnel on safety procedures, maintaining equipment cleanliness, conducting safety inspections, and operating equipment according to company rules. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of industrial management experience or equivalent training, and knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical, and welding procedures.
