Description
The Maintenance Manager directs and coordinates maintenance, repair, installation, and utility-system activities for industrial facilities, including mills and food-processing plants. The role develops preventive maintenance programs, schedules work, inspects equipment, coordinates technical staff and contractors, improves operations and costs, and prepares the department budget. It requires an engineering, technical associate, or vocational/technical degree or related certification, plus at least five years of directly related experience.
