Description
Mars Horsecare is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Dalton, Ohio, to maintain and repair plant facilities, utilities, compressors, pumps, water softeners, valves, piping systems, and manufacturing equipment. The role includes troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, sanitation, water sampling, chemical testing, work-order submission, recordkeeping, and compliance with safety procedures. It is a Monday–Friday afternoon shift with Saturdays as needed, 3 PM to 11 PM, and pays $30.84–$38.55 per hour plus a $2 shift premium. A high school diploma or GED, at least three years of industrial maintenance experience, equipment-troubleshooting experience, and manufacturing-plant experience are required; medical, vision, and dental benefits are provided starting day one.
