Description
The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots, diagnoses, installs, maintains, and repairs production and shop equipment such as welders and grinders to support production lines. The role involves repairing parts with hand tools and welding equipment, interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals, completing work orders, maintaining a clean work area, and working around machinery, welding fumes, electrical hazards, heat, heights, and other industrial conditions. It reports to a line or work group supervisor.
