Description
Upstate Niagara Cooperative is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes, electrical and hydraulic systems, and automated dairy-processing equipment. The role requires availability for all shifts, weekends, and holidays, and includes duties such as diagnosing machine failures, performing lockout procedures, installing wiring and components, repairing piping and hydraulic systems, fabricating parts, and operating machine tools and welding equipment. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, one to three years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus the ability to meet the physical demands of the work. Base pay starts at $28.53–$31.53 per hour, with total potential earnings up to $42.53 per hour and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
