Description
The Mechanic assists with plant equipment maintenance, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, installation, lubrication, cleaning, and testing of mechanical devices. The role also involves operating metalworking tools, following GMPs and safety procedures, communicating with team members, and assisting other departments. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, computer literacy with a CMMS system, industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of mechanical systems and utilities, diagnostic ability, shop equipment knowledge, and TIG or stick welding experience.
