Description
The Maintenance Mechanic reports to the Plant Manager and troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the mill operation. The role also detects potential mechanical and electrical problems to minimize downtime, requires knowledge of electrical schematics, power transmission, pneumatics, welding, fabrication, and industrial systems, and involves work at heights, confined spaces, and rotating or weekend hours. The position pays $22.00 to $26.00 per hour and requires at least two years of maintenance experience in a feed mill, industrial, or production environment.
