Description
The employer is seeking a maintenance mechanic to repair production machines and resolve breakdowns for clients in Herentals and across Belgium, mainly Flanders. The role involves replacing bearings, motors, grinding plates, and seals; repairing silos, bunkers, conveyor belts, and other structures; performing industrial assembly and welding; adjusting conveyor belts; renovating and relocating installations; and servicing pneumatic installations. The mechanic will travel daily to different job sites, work in a flexible daytime role, and may work Saturdays once or twice per month. The position requires at least two years of experience, a category B driving license, fluent Dutch, and the ability to work at heights. It offers a permanent contract after a successful interim period, attractive pay, a company car, and team activities.
