Description
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic maintains plant equipment such as mixers, pumps, screw conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and performs maintenance welding. Responsibilities include reading measuring instruments, lubricating equipment, checking oil levels, troubleshooting mechanical failures, performing pipefitting, operating MC carts, forklifts, and man lifts, and using work-order systems. The role requires a valid U.S. driver’s license, industrial-mechanical experience, a high school diploma or GED, physical ability, basic electrical safety knowledge, and at least one year of Mechanic 3 experience. The position involves heavy-duty physical work, exposure to fumes and airborne particles, and required environmental, safety, and quality training.
