Acme Barricades is hiring a Maintenance of Traffic laborer to perform temporary traffic control and work-zone activities on roadway construction projects. The role includes setting up and maintaining traffic-control devices, detours, lane closures, equipment handling, coordination with client representatives, paperwork, and potentially operating a company vehicle. The position requires a flexible schedule, physical work in construction zones, and may include night shifts, weekends, and holidays; overtime is available. Applicants should have at least two years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills, while advanced MOT certification or TSSA flagger certification is preferred.
