Description
Sound Transit is hiring a term-limited Rail Maintenance Planning Analyst for an anticipated 24-month duration. The role analyzes existing and proposed light-rail operations and maintenance assets, develops overhaul and replacement plans, estimates maintenance costs and staffing, coordinates technical staff and consultants, and supports maintenance scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and asset-life planning. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics/electrical maintenance, or a related field, plus four years of maintenance operations or planning experience with budgetary responsibility, or an equivalent combination. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office, with a salary range of $81,000 to $155,000 and a midpoint of $108,000.
