Description
Maintenance Specialist responsible for repairing, modifying, upgrading, rebuilding, welding, fabricating, and mechanically maintaining railcars. The role uses blueprints, hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, cutting and heating torches, welding equipment, forklifts, hoists, and other industrial equipment; performs inspections, component assembly, pipe and airline replacement, repair-data entry, and safety-compliant work outdoors under demanding physical and environmental conditions. The schedule consists of flexible 8–10-hour shifts, potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays, and includes mandatory four-week training after hire.
