Description
The Maintenance Superintendent supervises workers performing major painting, structural repairs, building utility maintenance, mechanical equipment installation and repair, and plant equipment maintenance. The role also prepares work schedules, assigns work, enforces company policy, resolves work problems, supports construction and facility modification projects, maintains preventive maintenance programs, and may direct ground-maintenance and custodial activities. Required qualifications include four years of poultry maintenance or food manufacturing experience, processing equipment experience, refrigeration and PLC knowledge, electrical systems knowledge, proficiency in multiple mechanical and industrial systems, Haz-Mat team qualification, communication and computer skills, and a high school diploma or GED.
