Description
The Maintenance Superintendent leads fixed- and mobile-equipment maintenance activities, supervising technicians and mechanics while driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safety and environmental compliance. The role manages staffing, scheduling, overtime, maintenance planning, CMMS documentation, root-cause analysis, cost control, and key performance indicators, while collaborating with operations, reliability, and planning teams. A high school diploma is required, with journeyman certification or an engineering degree preferred, along with 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial operations.
