Description
CoreCivic is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of a correctional facility’s building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical wiring, machinery, equipment, electronics, vehicles, and grounds. The role supervises maintenance staff and inmates or residents, establishes preventive maintenance schedules, plans capital expenditures, reviews work orders, resolves maintenance problems, and may serve as the facility Fire/Safety Officer. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, seven years of general construction or plant/institutional maintenance experience, two years of supervisory experience, Microsoft Office experience, and a valid driver’s license.
