Description
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor diagnoses and repairs heavy- and medium-duty vehicles, oversees maintenance safety procedures, EAM work orders, parts inventory, preventive and unscheduled repairs, and coordination with driver care, route operations, and customer care. The role supervises maintenance staff and requires at least five years of fleet-supervisor experience in a diesel shop, five years of auto, truck, or bus mechanical repair experience, heavy-truck DOT compliance experience, computer proficiency, computerized diagnostics, maintenance planning, purchasing, and budget management.
