Description
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor diagnoses and repairs diesel, heavy- and medium-duty vehicles; oversees maintenance safety procedures, EAM work orders, parts inventory, preventive and unscheduled repairs, and coordination with driver care, route operations, and customer care; and supervises maintenance staff. The role requires at least five years of fleet-supervisor experience in a diesel shop, five years of auto, truck, or bus mechanical repair experience, heavy-truck DOT compliance experience, computer proficiency, computerized diagnostics, maintenance planning, purchasing, and budget-management experience. ASE certification is desirable but not required, and the position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus or $1,500 referral bonus, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, holiday pay, PTO, and retirement savings benefits.
