Description
The Maintenance I will maintain and repair plant facilities, machinery, and equipment. Responsibilities include minor preventative maintenance on vehicles, forklifts, factory equipment, and facility equipment; minor maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems; maintaining parts and supplies inventory; assisting Maintenance II and III personnel with major projects; and supporting 5S in the department. The role requires one year of maintenance mechanic experience and experience in welding, metal fabrication, plumbing, carpentry, mechanics, and/or electrical wiring. The work involves standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, using ladders at heights up to 12 feet, and exposure to temperature changes, humidity, dust, fumes, and moving machinery.
