Description
The Hotel Maintenance Technician performs general services, repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance for hotel rooms, public spaces, offices, back-of-house areas, and grounds. Responsibilities include carpentry, painting, light mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pool and fountain, kitchen equipment, and electronics work; responding to maintenance calls; testing pool chemistry; using ladders, scaffolds, and lifts; and providing on-call coverage. The role requires a Facilities Maintenance Technician Certificate, five years of hotel maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid Virginia driver’s license, and the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency calls.
