Description
The Facilities Maintenance Technician I performs building-trade maintenance, repairs, and remodeling for owned and leased facilities, including painting, carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing, drywall, and HVAC and other mechanical systems. The role requires a high school or GED, at least two years of prior maintenance experience, a Florida driver’s license, and the ability to work independently and perform physically demanding tasks. It reports to the Director of Facilities and is listed as non-exempt hourly work.
