Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is hiring a Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift in South Bend, Indiana. The role maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs presses and other plant equipment, including welding fixtures, guarding, plumbing, and preventative maintenance; it also involves operating material-handling equipment, following OSHA safety requirements, and participating in major repairs and productivity improvements. The position pays $34.58 per hour plus a 7.5% shift premium and offers health benefits, vacation time, paid holidays, retirement benefits, and other programs. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of industrial electrical experience or an associate degree in industrial or electrical maintenance; Allen-Bradley PLC, electrical specialty, CMMS, and related maintenance experience are preferred. The role requires working all shifts and residing within 50 miles of the work location, and Eaton does not offer immigration sponsorship.
