Description
Valeo is hiring a full-time, permanent Maintenance Technician for its APU organization. The role works a third shift from Sunday at 9:30 PM to Friday at 6:30 AM, with overtime as necessary, and involves installing and maintaining high-speed assembly and manufacturing equipment, performing emergency and unscheduled repairs, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, reading equipment manuals, completing work orders, diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, adjusting, and performing preventative maintenance. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of high-speed assembly or manufacturing equipment experience, mechanical and electrical repair experience including the ability to repair up to 480-volt electrical equipment, and preferably experience repairing Allen-Bradley PLC-controlled equipment.
