Description

Axon is hiring a Maintenance Specialist to perform hands-on preventive and reactive maintenance, inspections, contractor coordination, utility monitoring, and compliance activities for its German facilities. The role supports the Sr. Facilities and EHS Manager and serves as the local point of contact for occupational safety, health, and environmental protection matters. It requires vocational training in a relevant technical field, at least three years of building maintenance or technical services experience, German occupational health and safety knowledge, a valid German Class B driver’s license, and fluent German skills.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Vocational training in a relevant trade or technical field, such as electrical engineering, HVAC, building services, or mechatronics, with a journeyman’s certificate or equivalent qualification.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of experience in building maintenance, building services, or a technical services role, ideally in a commercial or industrial environment.
Practical experience carrying out and documenting risk assessments and workplace inspections under German occupational health and safety law.
Experience coordinating external companies on site, issuing permit-to-work authorizations, and supervising third-party maintenance work.
Demonstrable knowledge of German occupational health and safety regulations and DGUV standards.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong practical and technical problem-solving skills and fault-diagnosis ability.
Good understanding of German EHS legislation and commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
Fluent German and English skills for communication and EHS documentation.
