Description
The Maintenance Mechanic installs, repairs, tests, and maintains production machines, engines, motors, conveyor systems, robots, programmable controllers, vehicles, and forklifts. The role performs emergency and scheduled maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment programming, recordkeeping, and coordination of planned maintenance. It requires a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, mechanical training or equivalent experience, forklift training or the ability to receive it, a valid state driver’s license, and two years of related experience with packing or production machines; mechanical and electrical experience is desirable.
