Hood Container Corporation is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for its Sumter, South Carolina operations on the third shift from Monday through Friday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on corrugate equipment, troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, drive, motor, gearbox, roller, glue, steam, and control systems, reads schematics and PLC documentation, conducts root-cause analysis, documents work in a CMMS, and partners with operations to improve machine reliability and uptime. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, hands-on maintenance experience, and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in a corrugated packaging plant preferred.
