Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing industrial equipment and related infrastructure to support production. The role includes reporting maintenance activities through CMMS and logs, ensuring safety, supporting external troubleshooting, maintaining the maintenance workshop, training new arrivals, advising on technical solutions, integrating new equipment, improving existing equipment, and serving as backup for the maintenance coordinator. The position requires practical maintenance experience or a two-year post-secondary diploma, problem-solving knowledge, CMMS and priority-management skills, and analytical, adaptable, teamwork, interpersonal, curious, and safety-oriented qualities.
