Description
Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Oriented Strand Board plant in Fordyce, Arkansas. The role performs troubleshooting, installation, alignment, dismantling, repair, and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to improve reliability and uptime. The position works a day shift Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, with overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed. Candidates need industrial, military, agricultural, or manufacturing mechanical maintenance experience, fabrication and welding experience, hydraulic-system experience, and the ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals; two years or more of relevant experience is preferred.
