Description
The Maintenance Technician performs routine preventative maintenance and repair of building interior and exterior mechanical systems and equipment under limited supervision. Responsibilities include responding to emergency maintenance requests, scheduling vendors and contractors, completing work orders, inspecting and adjusting building systems, maintaining records, and performing minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, flooring, and other repairs. The role requires at least two years of general building-trades, repair, replacement maintenance, or handy-work experience; HVAC certification is preferred but not required. It is an indoor-and-outdoor, non-exempt hourly position scheduled Wednesdays through Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with possible after-hours emergency calls.
