Description
The Maintenance Technician performs corrective and preventive maintenance, electrical and electronic repairs, equipment installations, troubleshooting, and support for production lines and specialized equipment. The role progresses through Technician Levels A through D, with increasing responsibility for PLC programming, automation, equipment design support, major projects, and improvement initiatives. Requirements include electromechanical systems knowledge, experience with molding equipment, pneumatic presses, inkjet printers, control systems, and PLCs, along with communication, safety, and physical capabilities.
