The role involves minimizing downtime, supporting operational excellence initiatives like TPM, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Key responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, implementing preventive/predictive maintenance, resolving equipment issues efficiently, communicating with operations personnel, participating in proactive maintenance activities, documenting detailed records, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, utilizing appropriate tools, and demonstrating precision welding skills.
