Description
The Heavy Machinery Maintenance Technician will work in a workshop specializing in heavy mechanics, large-scale machining, and metal fabrication or welding. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the role covers troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures on lathes, milling machines, CNC centers, welding stations, and lifting equipment; performing preventive maintenance and precision checks; managing critical spare parts; documenting procedures; coordinating subcontractors; and maintaining safety and environmental compliance. The position requires 3–5 years of similar industrial experience, technical versatility across mechanics and industrial systems, proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagrams, and some PLC and numerical-control diagnostics knowledge. It is offered on a temporary contract with a view to long-term employment and includes meal vouchers.
