Description
The Recycling Center Maintenance Technician at Republic Services is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on various recycling equipment, compact heavy equipment, and light trucks. This includes routine maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems, sorting screens, optical sorters, magnets, eddy currents, electrical systems, balers, conveyor systems, and compactors. The technician diagnoses mechanical problems, overhauls machine components, communicates with supervisors and operators, and completes field service reports.
