Description
The Maintenance Technician at Ryan Building Services is responsible for routine, preventive maintenance and general repairs for a downtown Des Moines, Iowa class B office tower. The role involves making adjustments to building systems, equipment, and fixtures under the guidance of the Lead/Chief Engineer, completing daily and weekly work orders, performing plumbing, painting, irrigation, and general upkeep tasks, and participating in an on-call rotation with occasional after-hours and weekend work. The position requires a high school degree or equivalent, at least two years of maintenance-related experience, basic computer skills, and preferred knowledge of building systems, HVAC, and Microsoft 365.
