Description
The Maintenance Technician reports to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for inspecting a property, reporting hazards and repairs, completing resident service requests, coordinating preventative maintenance, handling emergencies, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong scheduling, communication, problem-solving, and physical abilities, including lifting up to 90 pounds, operating machinery, and working after hours when needed. Carpentry, plumbing, and electrical experience are preferred, while a valid local state driver’s license, working vehicle, and automobile insurance are required.
