Description
The Building Maintenance Technician performs general physical-plant maintenance, including preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs, plumbing, minor electrical and appliance repairs, painting, equipment and vehicle maintenance, irrigation, snow removal, and building upkeep. The role may assist with heating, air-conditioning, water, refrigeration, pump, motor, fan, electrical, and emergency-generator systems when qualified. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of building-maintenance experience, and one year or more of apartment or healthcare-community maintenance experience, along with a valid driver’s license and emergency availability. The position pays $17–$19 per hour and operates 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40 hours per week.
