Description
The Maintenance Technician will provide general repairs, routine and preventative maintenance, and hands-on upkeep for four retirement community locations in HRM. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, door and fixture repairs, minor drywall and HVAC work, suite turnover, property inspections, common-area maintenance, seasonal groundskeeping, and shuttle driving for residents. The role requires previous general maintenance or handyman experience, basic knowledge of building systems, tool safety, physical ability, and a valid driver’s license. It involves rotating on-call availability, after-hours emergency response, and travel between sites.
