Description
The Maintenance Technician performs various responsibilities including completing routine service requests, ensuring the clean condition of the community, maintaining the maintenance shop, and assisting in other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. They are responsible for providing excellent service to residents, guests, and contractors, spot cleaning model and vacant units, conducting daily/weekly meetings, keeping time records, performing common area inspections, making preparations for new leases, managing workorders, changing keys, providing on-call coverage, enforcing breezeway cleanliness standards, maintaining pool chemicals, logging MSDS/OSHA/EPA logs, managing maintenance inventory, covering weekend common areas, reviewing preventative maintenance calendars, performing car checks and safety hazard inspections, attending monthly safety meetings, replacing filters quarterly, placing policy notices, ensuring proper equipment inventory, advising on education/certification needs, working with vendors during moves, and completing unit punches.
