Vital Farms is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a night-shift, 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role performs building repairs, equipment installation and troubleshooting, work-order fulfillment, preventative maintenance, inventory upkeep, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining machinery, installing and repairing piping and hydraulic or steam systems, replacing gauges and valves, and performing minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep. Applicants need at least one year of general maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and knowledge of areas such as stainless-steel welding, piping, electricity, and process equipment; manufacturing and food/beverage experience are preferred.
