Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the physical condition, maintenance, and repair of assigned residential communities. The role performs preventative, routine, emergency, and corrective maintenance on buildings, apartments, grounds, and equipment; diagnoses and repairs systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, fire and security systems, and elevators; manages work orders, inspections, inventory, budgets, permits, and compliance documentation; coordinates contractors and vendors; and responds to resident requests. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience, experience with building systems, a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and the ability to work on-call and in varying weather conditions.
