Hood Container Corporation is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for its Chicago operation to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on corrugator equipment. The role covers electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, drive, motor, gearbox, roller, glue, steam, and PLC systems; troubleshooting live production equipment; root-cause analysis; CMMS documentation; and reliability improvements. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of hands-on maintenance experience in a corrugated packaging plant with direct corrugator experience, or a relevant technical degree, certification, or completed apprenticeship. The position pays $32.00–$38.00 per hour plus benefits and offers training, advancement, and quarterly bonus opportunities.
