Description
The Events Maintenance Technician supports San Antonio Zoo’s events through manual labor, including cleaning, assembling and disassembling temporary structures, installing and maintaining Christmas lights, inspecting scenic elements and lighting systems, staging materials, maintaining inventory, setting up and taking down equipment, and assisting with load-ins, load-outs, repairs, and other projects. The role requires hand and power tool knowledge, safety awareness, physical work in varying weather, availability for days, nights, weekends, and occasional after-hours events, and a valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain one within three months.
