Description
The Fleet Tech II supports a school bus fleet by diagnosing and repairing medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrains, electrical, cooling, fuel, HVAC, and diesel systems. The role performs preventive maintenance, mobile repairs, safety inspections, maintenance logging, and road calls, while working with the Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. It requires at least three years of light-, medium-, or heavy-duty mechanic repair experience, diesel equipment experience, diagnostic proficiency, and a high school education or equivalent; a CDL is preferred and training is provided.
