Description
The Junior Maintenance Technician supports the day-to-day maintenance of a manufacturing operation and facility by performing preventive maintenance, minor equipment repairs, basic troubleshooting, facility upkeep, and general handyman tasks. The role works under the direction of the Lead Maintenance Technician and site leadership, with complex CNC repairs and advanced diagnostics supported by the lead or an outside service provider. Candidates should have mechanical aptitude, basic hand and power-tool skills, problem-solving ability, dependability, communication skills, and knowledge of shop safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures; prior maintenance, construction, mechanical, automotive, machine-shop, or handyman experience is helpful but not required. The position requires the ability to work in a manufacturing environment, climb ladders, and lift or move up to 50 pounds, as well as meet applicable ITAR/EAR compliance requirements.
