Description
The Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic diagnoses and repairs mechanical malfunctions, installs and replaces components, troubleshoots rotating and production equipment, performs welding and machine-shop work, and maintains manufacturing machinery and equipment. The role also oversees lower-level mechanics or contractors, follows plant safety and environmental procedures, and requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical-drawing literacy, and basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and boiler systems.
